The international Aledus team gathered for an offsite summer retreat to bust the myth of distance between colleagues. The weekend unfolded under the banner of experiments and excitement — the entire storyline was inspired by the cult TV show “Mythbusters”.
From the very first moments, participants could feel the attention to detail. The coordinator assisted with check-in, and each guest room held a welcome pack: branded merchandise, a personalized “myth to bust” card, and a symbolic cola + Mentos set — a small hint of the experiments to come.
The next morning, the English-speaking host gathered the team, outlined the plan, and led everyone to the first challenge — a rope park. Those who chose the harder routes returned with prizes and well-earned applause. After an outdoor lunch, the main stage began — the “Mythbusters” team challenge.
Guests were divided into teams, given protective suits and Aledus-branded stickers. At each of the eight stations, participants encountered a new myth, discussed it, made predictions, and tested their hypotheses in action.

• “Alcohol Test” — verifying popular hangover hacks against a real breathalyzer.
• “Phenolphthalein Turns Pink in Alkali” — a vivid chemical experiment.
• “The Unbreakable Nokia” — putting the “indestructible phone” myth to the test.
• “Water Rocket” — building and launching models for distance and precision.

After tallying the scores, the winners received a symbolic “Mythbusters Hammer” engraved with a commemorative plaque.
In the evening, guests enjoyed dinner and words of appreciation from the company founders, followed by musical bingo, dancing, and guitar songs by the campfire. Even the rain couldn’t spoil the mood — laughter and fire brought everyone closer together.
