Mountain Tour in Svaneti

Svaneti has it all - comfortable accommodations and alpine-style villages for tourists, as well as authentically remote villages hidden in the mountains, accessible only to the adventurous.
Numerous popular and less-known mountain trails, various viewpoints accessible by off-road vehicles, horseback riding, or hiking.

Delicious dishes of the national cuisine prepared from bio products, ancient churches, traditions, rituals... That's why all adventure enthusiasts are strongly recommended to explore Svaneti!

Day 1

Meeting at your hotel at 8 a.m., journey to Mestia. Soon after the town of Zugdidi, one of the most beautiful serpentine roads in Georgia begins. Along the way, we make stops in Zugdidi at the Dadiani Palace, Inguri Hydroelectric Station, the confluence of the Khaisi and Inguri rivers, and a coffee break.
In Mestia, we check into the hotel (usually a family guesthouse, double rooms with bathroom). Next, a stroll around the city, to the Mestichala River canyon, to the Hergiani Club, and to the natural mineral water spring.
Visit to a Museum
and the Svan Tower.

Day 2

Breakfast.

Jeep ride to the high-mountain settlement of Ushguli, time to stroll and explore the village, including the Lamari Church.
There is also the option to trek to the foot of Mount Shkhara (this route can also be done on horseback).
*If desired, an evening workshop on preparing Svanetian dishes can be arranged in a local family, combined with dinner.

Return to the hotel.

Day 3

A leisurely trek to the Chaladi Glacier, approximately 4 km round trip with a slight elevation gain.
Drive to the Khashhili viewpoint.
In case of good weather, instead of trekking, you can take a jeep ride to the viewpoint overlooking the Koruldi Lakes.
Return to the city around 2 PM.
