Online Culinary Masterclass for the Nawruz Celebration – Group-IB, Tashkent, 2025

On March 19, we hosted a festive online cooking masterclass dedicated to Nawruz – the spring equinox and the start of the new year in the solar calendar. The session was filmed in Tashkent, with Group-IB employees Zunnura and Sarvar as hosts. They not only cooked national dishes but also shared stories, traditions, and insights into the culture of Uzbekistan.
Event Program:

  • Preparation of two traditional dishes: Uzbek plov and Shakarob salad. The hosts explained the recipes and shared cooking tips.

  • Interactive segment: viewers asked questions via chat, took part in a photo-based quiz, and received prizes for their engagement.

  • Sharing traditions: discussion about family Nawruz customs, local cuisine, and personal stories from the Uzbekistan team.


Our contributions:

  • Selected and prepared a filming location in Tashkent.

  • Developed a scenario focused on culinary content and interactivity.

  • Styled the studio in a national theme, incorporating elements of the company’s branding.

  • Provided all necessary equipment and ingredients.

  • Held rehearsals to ensure the hosts felt confident on camera.


Uniqueness:

This was more than a cooking session — it was a true virtual journey into the spirit of Nawruz. Through engaging conversation, warmth, humor, and a vibrant presentation of cultural traditions, viewers felt truly immersed in the celebration, despite the distance.
